Philodendron 'Sun Red' is a shocker! Young leaves start out a bright red, and they mature to a burgundy red-purple.  Due to a think, upright, self-supporting stem, the heart shaped leaves will give a tree-like appearance.  It is slow growing making it great for small spaces.  

Keep this plant evenly moist, and is forgiving if it dries out.  Do not keep too wet or root rot will occur.

Prefers medium light but will tolerate low light. East or west windows work perfectly.
