An iconic American parka made for warmth and rugged durability. These jackets were made for the US Air Force by either DJ Manufacturing Corp or Greenbrier Industries Inc. and, as the labels state, it's designed as a "Parka, Extreme Cold weather, Type N-3B" and so you'll be buying a genuine military spec garment that should keep you warm and toasty in the wintry weather, along with other suitable outer wear, of course.
Please note: the front zip travels from mid-tummy to the extreme edge of the furry hood trim and so does up past the neck to form the tunnel 'snorkel' as shown in the photos. When this is done, the collar circumference is restricted to a minimum to form a tight fit. Therefore please note that the maximum neck circumference of any wearer is about 17 inches (43cm). A larger neck than this would make the garment uncomfortable to zip up fully rendering proper use of the hood unlikely.

- Outer shell is 80% cotton/20% Nylon.
- Inner thermal insulation wadding is 100% Polyester.
- Synthetic fur on hood trim.
- Zip reaches from belly to hood and so allows for comfort when seated.
- Storm flap over front zip secured by four buttons.
- Faux-fur lining to hood for additional comfort.
- In Unissued condition, so never worn, despite being old stock.
- The large hood has an adjuster strap at rear and drawstring at front.
- Elasticated inner cuff, keeps cold out.
- Four front pockets all having stud closures.
- Left arm pen pocket slots and ID card sized zipped pouch.
- Waist drawstring cord to keep warm air in.
- Please note, metal studs may show signs of slight tarnish.
- Grade 1 condition.
- Size is UK Large (45" chest) - but is labelled Medium (US Medium) so a person with a 42" chest wearing warm jumper and shirt would be most comfy.
- Model in photos is 5'10" so parka would suit maximum height of six feet (arm length for tall wearers may not be long enough).
